I have been drawing and painting all of my life.
I find the times when I am in my studio, the
most relaxing and enjoyable times of my day. In
2002, I decided to focus my efforts on my Art
to try to develop a second career to keep me busy
when I retire from teaching.

When I began I mostly painted pictures that I would
find in magazines or in books. However today, I like
to paint the world around me. I especially enjoy
painting the people I meet and see in everyday
life. Thus my family and friends are my primary
source of models.
